Pluto is a young and handsome 10 month old boy who has come a long way. Pluto was rescued from a high-kill pound, where he was under such extreme stress that he wouldn’t let anyone get close to him and would hide from people. He is still a puppy, and we couldn’t leave him behind: we had to give him a chance! Once in our shelter, his roommate helped him come out of his shell and day by day, we discover more of his true character. It’s truly beautiful to witness. He seems to have a very funny personality and is developing into a happy boy with a mischievous side. He will need patience and a companion to help him continue to blossom, but for that, he needs to get out of the shelter environment, which is far too stressful for a dog like him.
