Let us introduce you to IGGY — a beautiful brindle boy currently living in a small municipality pound that we support. It’s a place with no volunteers which only means no walks, no play, and no gentle hands to offer affection. His only human contact comes briefly when staff clean and feed him. The dogs there don’t get seen — unless we show them to the world. IGGY is around 17 months old (estimated DOB 10/08/2024), medium–large in size at 21.5 kg, and quite a tall lad. He’s a friendly, bouncy, enthusiastic young dog — still very much a big puppy at heart. He is good with other dogs and simply needs someone who can guide him, spend time with him, and help him learn what home life feels like. Iggy is looking for an outdoor, active family who can give him plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. He would thrive with a family who enjoys running, walking, or even trying agility — anything that helps him channel his high energy. We feel that he will do better in a home with older children (12 and above). Iggy is a wonderful boy with so much potential — he just needs someone to give him a real chance at life.
