Our beautiful Petra, a female German Shepherd cross is almost 11 years old (DOB 15/03/2015) and has been stuck for a few months now in a municipality cage. Day after day, she sees only the worker who comes to clean and feed her. No walks, no affection, no warmth — just endless waiting behind bars. Despite her age, Petra is a strong girl, and every time we’ve met her, she’s been so happy to go out — stretching her legs and enjoying every moment of freedom. Time is running out. We’re urgently and actively looking for a loving home for this wonderful elderly girl, where she can finally spend her remaining years surrounded by care and love. She cannot stay in these cages any longer. She’s old, winter is coming… and it’s just not fair. She deserves comfort, love, and peace for her retirement. She gets along well with both male and female dogs and is affectionate and kind — just waiting for someone to give her that one last chance at happiness she so truly deserves. 🐾 Please, help PETRA find her forever home.
