This pretty girl is Betty, a 2-year-old hound mix, weighing around 12kg, who we rescued from a local pound. We can’t believe how quickly she came out of her shell and blossomed after just a few weeks with us. When we first met her, she was curled up at the back of her kennel, trembling and barely showing herself… It was heartbreaking. Since arriving, she has completely transformed. We’ve discovered a joyful, playful girl who loves meeting new furry friends. She’s great with other dogs, always happy to meet the volunteers — and she absolutely loves attention! She now enjoys her walks and all the exciting smells along the way. She’s not good with cats, so a cat-free home would be best for her. We don’t know her past, but from now on, she’ll only know love and safety.
