Meet Baz, a truly beautiful boy with a heartbreaking past. Baz once had a home and a best friend, Spike, but when their owner left Cyprus, they were abandoned on the streets... One of our dedicated permanent volunteers discovered their situation and couldn’t turn away—both boys were immediately taken into our care. Spike has been lucky enough to secure a place with another rescue that has a wider adoption network, and we’re confident he’ll find his forever home very soon. Now it’s Baz’s turn. We urgently need to find him a loving home, as Baz has a docked tail and, with potential new UK regulations, he may soon be unable to travel. Baz is approximately 13 months old (estimated DOB: 23/11/2023) and medium-sized, currently weighing around 19kg. Despite everything he’s been through, Baz is full of joy and personality. He’s a real social butterfly who gets incredibly excited to see the volunteers and head out for his walks. He gets along well with other dogs and already knows how to sit for treats, although his excitement sometimes gets the better of him as he’s very enthusiastic when food is involved! Baz is currently in Cyprus and is looking for a loving forever home either in Cyprus or the UK. He will be neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, treated for parasites, and RBU will be provided.
