“Lucky?” Sadly, his name couldn’t be further from the truth. This stunning boy has been at the shelter since November 2022—that’s 937 days, over 2.5 years with not a single application. It breaks our hearts to see such a beautiful soul overlooked time and time again. Lucky is a gentle, affectionate boy who adores people, lives for his long walks, and melts into cuddles like he’s been waiting for them his whole life. He’s playful, joyful, and just wants someone to notice him. Someone to finally say, “You’re coming home.” 🐾 His story Found in a field, his paw trapped in a plastic bottle, Lucky endured pain and uncertainty. Despite efforts to save one of his toes, it had to be amputated. During his recovery, his walks were short, but his spirit stayed strong. Now fully healed, Lucky enjoys bounding around the play area and exploring on long walks with volunteers.
